Surico Walkinshaw was a standout from the day he was born. His lustre, fineness and density are excellent, but it is the consistency of these traits everywhere across his fleece that places him among the elite suri being bred today.
At only 6 months of age he won the National Junior Male Suri title, and has gone on to win a broad ribbon at every show he's attended. In 2012, as an Intermediate, he won the coveted trophy of Supreme Suri at the AANZ National Show.
Walkinshaw is a favourite on the farm, with an engaging personality, excellent fleece, and strong boned conformation. He started his life as a stud male in 2015 and now has progeny. Anna Pavlova has been very successful in the show ring and a farm favourite.

Breeding
Sire: Surilana Mr B ET, is an outstanding male having both the breeding and the attributes to make him a truly great suri. He has a rich and lustrous fleece that is dense and silky to handle. When seeing him at the AAA National Show in 2007 we just had to have him, his breeding was exactly what we were looking for and he looked the part as well. He went on to win Supreme Suri. His dam "Ma Belle", a full Accoyo female was imported to Australia from Peru and has produced a string of exceptional offspring. His sire "Bosisto" also imported to Australia from Accoyo in 2001, make his genetics rare in NZ and complement those already here.
Dam: Surico Chamonix, is a well bred female, with Surilana Parsifal as her sire and her dam, Surilana Kirsten, who was sired by an Accoyo male ILR Top Hat. An earlier offspring, Surico Atomic was sold to Sweden as a herdsire. Her 2013 male cria, Surico Walkington, was sired by Alinghi with excellent fleece qualities. Chamonix has a fine, lustrous fleece and is strong boned and well conformed. She has good nurturing capabilities and fecundity.
